VEHICLES FOR SALE

For Sale: '46 Mercury cpe.Very solid, but needs some rocker repair. No engine, trans, wiring, or radiator. All body and fender stainless there. Interior out of car, but seatsand door and quarter panel pads have original upholstery intact. Rolls on stock suspension. Iowa title in my name. $2,000. Delivery available. John 515-332-5039 6/11

1927 Ford Track Roadster, 1927 Ford steel body, (front half of touring). Pete & Jakes front axle, disc brakes, knock-off wires, SB Chev 350, Edelbrock 3-2s, (end 2 are blocked off) and tach-drive “vette distributor, Sanderson headers, TH350, 10-bolt Chevy rear. I will be working on projects that I may have done by the time June is over: It needs front shocks to be installed. (I have a new Speedway kit)  Needs rear frame crossmember clearance for more rear end travel.  Could use a seat with more cushion. A few mechanical-maintenance items, fix a bracket, etc.
NOTE this is for sale with the WIRE WHEELS and not the various mags, Lancer caps I borrowed to get into the TorqueFest and have been cruising around on.    Need cash or a coupe soon...
Would consider trades on ‘27-34 five-window coupes, Driving Austin, Hillman, or Morris 2-door hot rods, maybe a cool F-85, Falcon, Fairlane or Chevy II wagon? I need a driving closed car. (I still have another roadster, too). Good basic driving hot rod for summer fun. Not a “show” car, not really a “rat.” Priced to sell now. $9,500. Email me for more pics & details.Okay, I missed the guy's name-phone with the V-12 Lincoln at Des Moines swap.I WOULD sell it without engine/trans/headers for $1500 less. I cannot deduct money  if I keep the wire wheels because I have no alternative car to put them on. Located in central Iowa

1939 Ford Standard Coupe on Fatman Chassis Body is pretty solid, all steel. Professional qtr patch panels done, also has new tail pan. Some small dents here and there (character marks) and small rust at rear of rear fenders, but very solid overall. Looks like it had some bodywork done in the trunk lid where the handle mounts, but its presentable. Rain gutters not rusted through like some get. Interior is bare, but I have the garnish moldings, solid windshield frame. I have a bench seat that looks to be old-school naughahyde, bare dash, no crank out mechanism for the windshield, but hinges there, and no other interior. I bought new Jeep wiper system and was going to modify that to fit. Bearclaw latches with mount kits, and new outside handles are included, but it has at least the right-side stock latch, I can’t remember if it has the left side latch. I just like the more modern bearclaw-style, so was going to put those in.  I have a few misc parts, but it needs anything else you might want inside.  I bought all new rubber for doors, trunk, windows, but not window channel, felts. Windshield has glass but cracked. Chassis is the Fatman dual rear leaf, Mustang II front, manual rack, 8" Ford rear. Some body mounts are done, but still needs a couple others to be drilled and screwed down. Fatman makes the brackets, but owner must drill and tap the holes, I guess. All four wheels are std Ford 4-1/2" bc. Has a 1” spacer on the rear wheels to allow using the stock wheels with deep back spacing. Deep mags would work fine without the spacers. Car has a new poly gas tank, no filler tube to the fender.  The new radiator isn’t in any pictures, but is included.  H.A.M.B. flat glass guy has all windows with delivered cost $385.
I told people I would consider selling it for $11,500 cash as-is without a motor/trans. Add $1800 for the LT1/4L60e with harness and stock computer, (includes also a Wester’s reprogrammed computer) setting in the chassis or the back of your truck.  Needs a different trans mount for that, since it was set up for TH400.
Setbacks in my health have made me consider selling this. I have a driving roadster, so at least I have something to play in for now, but I want a small closed car, too.  More detail pictures available for the serious.
I have TWO roadster, so not interested in any other trade offers for open cars, only early coupes, little gasser-style somethingsomething.   I may consider trades on/toward a driving rod or near-done project:
Henry J, English Austin, 1933-4 5-w coupe, maybe the right “A” coupe, or interesting small old cars. I am downsizing the fleet.  I would also consider as partial trade-in a complete with harness/computer/clutch LS2 or LS3 to fit 2004 Corvette 6-speed chassis. Sorry I can NOT get this running for you, If I could still do the work, I'd do it and enjoy the car myself.
